Traditional Moldovan and Romanian dish Platsynda

500 grams of cheese "Naduhy" TM Shchedryk

1 cup of yogurt TM Shchedryk

2-2.5 of cups flour

1/2 tbsp of baking soda

1 tbsp of sugar

2 tbsp of cooking oil

2 eggs

herbs (chives, dill)

salt to taste

TM Shchedryk butter (for greasing form).


To prepare the dough pour the yogurt into a bowl, add the butter, a little salt and sugar. Carefully stir and gradually add the sifted flour. The dough should be soft but not stick to hands. Cover the bowl with cling film and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes. For the filling finely chop the green onions, dill, add the cheese, a little sugar, eggs, salt, pepper to taste and mix well to mass homogeneity. Upon receipt of the dough from the refrigerator, cut it in 6-7 pieces, each of which roll into a thin pancake 2-3 mm. In the center of cake put 2-3 tbsp. spoon filling evenly over the dough, fold up the edges to the center partially overlapping each other. Fry each pancake on a dry, well-heated pan, but start to cook seam down. Spread butter on both sides.
