Khachapuri Imeretian
for the dough
125 ml of yogurt TM Shchedryk
150 g of salad yoghurt 6% TM Shchedryk
300 g of flour
1/2 tea spoon of salt
1 tbsp. of sugar
1/2 tea spoon of baking soda
100 g of butter TM Shchedryk.
For the cheese filling, take
200 g of feta TM Shchedryk (or cheese)
200g of mozzarella TM Shchedryk (or "Rivne")
2 tbsp. of salad yoghurt 6% TM Shchedryk
Preparation
Mix the kefir with sour cream, add salt, sugar and baking soda, stir and add the melted butter. Add flour to mixture and knead a soft dough.
Grind feta with a fork, grate mozzarella, mix cheese mixture with yogurt.
Divide the dough into 4 parts. Take a piece and roll in a pancake shape (you can hand). In the centerput ¼ of the filling, form a pouch, tear off excess dough. A piece of 1-1.5 cm thick, sprinkle with flour. The preform for khachapuri place on preheated dry pan, cover and bake for a few minutes over medium heat. Turn over and fry a little, but without cover. Prepared khachapuri spread with butter.
